Designed to support plants from seed to maturity, these pots provide superior aeration, moisture balance, and root health — making them a favourite among home growers, professional gardeners, and trade growers alike. Each coir pot is Crafted in Sri Lanka with Love!

Why Choose CoirProducts Coir Pots?

At CoirProducts, our coir pots are crafted with a deep understanding of what plants — and gardeners — truly need. Each pot is engineered to nurture plants naturally, without compromising on performance:

Sustainable & Peat-Free

Derived from renewable coconut husk by-products, our coir pots help protect fragile peatland ecosystems while offering a fully biodegradable planting solution. This is responsible gardening in its purest form — a choice that the planet and your plants will thank you for.

• Superior Aeration & Root Development – Unlike plastic or paper pots that can suffocate roots, coir provides excellent air circulation. This encourages robust, healthy root systems and reduces the risk of root rot and damping-off — particularly important for seedlings and young plants.
• Natural Moisture Balance – Coir inherently retains moisture while allowing excess water to drain away. This creates a stable root environment that reduces stress, supports strong shoots, and enhances plant vitality across all growth stages.
• Biodegradable & Plant-Friendly – When you plant directly with coir pots, they break down naturally in soil — eliminating the need for pot removal and minimising transplant shock. This means less disturbance to roots, healthier establishment, and greater overall success.
• Versatile for Every Garden – Whether you’re sowing seeds, propagating cuttings, nurturing herbs, or growing ornamentals and vegetables, our coir pots are suitable for a wide range of applications — indoors, outdoors, in greenhouses, and in containers.

Why gardeners love them:

• Cleaner, tidier planting — minimal mess and maximum convenience

How to Use Coir Pots

1. Soak & Prepare — Lightly pre-soak the coir pots if a softer structure is preferred.

2. Fill & Plant — Place compost or potting mix into the pot, then sow seeds or plant seedlings as usual.

3. Water & Grow — Water gently and maintain moisture for optimal root development.

4. Plant Directly (Optional) — When the roots have established, plant the entire coir pot directly into the soil — coir will naturally biodegrade, enriching your soil.
