From The Earth, Back To The Earth!

Why Choose Coir Logs?

• 100 % Sustainable & Peat‑Free – Coir logs are made from renewable coconut husk fibre, a natural by‑product of the coconut industry. Fully biodegradable and free from peat and plastics, they support responsible gardening while reducing environmental impact.
• Moisture Retention & Erosion Control – Coir naturally holds water and releases it gradually, helping to maintain soil moisture and reduce erosion on slopes, banks and planting lines. This makes coir logs ideal for stabilising soil and supporting vegetation establishment.
• Natural Soil Enhancement – As they break down over time, coir logs enrich the soil with organic matter, improving texture, aeration and long‑term plant health — ideal for planting beds, orchard lines and horticultural projects.

Versatile Landscaping Utility

Whether you’re creating borders, defining beds, edge lining, or establishing tree and shrub supports, coir logs provide structure without compromising natural integrity. They integrate seamlessly into contemporary and traditional garden designs alike.

Easy to Install & Maintain

Simply lay coir logs along planting lines or slopes, secure if necessary, and begin planting. Over time, coir logs naturally integrate with existing soil — no removal required, and minimal upkeep needed.

Common Uses for Coir Logs

• Soil stabilisation & erosion control — for slopes, banks and waterways

• Border and bed definition — garden perimeters and landscape layouts

• Tree, shrub and hedge support — integrates with planting schemes

• Moisture management — around moisture‑sensitive plants and root zones

• Vegetation establishment projects — allotments, community gardens and large beds

How to Use Coir Logs

1. Prepare Planting Line: Clear vegetation and level the ground where the coir log will sit.

2. Lay the Coir Log: Place the log in position, ensuring firm contact with surrounding soil.

3. Secure if Needed: For steeper inclines or wetter conditions, use stakes or natural ties.

4. Plant Adjacent Vegetation: Plant directly behind or into the coir log as recommended.

5. Monitor Moisture: Coir logs will support water retention — reduce watering as plantings establish.
